We would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to City Church. 

WHAT IS CITY CHURCH?

City Church is a church set in the city of Bend, Oregon. It is an organization of people formed for the lifelong journey of loving God and each other. City Church does not belong to any denomination. It is an independent church that may seek healthy service partnerships and loose affiliations with many existing organizations. 

City Church is not just a church title… it is also a philosophy.  A city church is one that exists to passionately serve its local context and the world around it. Central Oregon is our immediate context and culture, and we will never cease to lend a hand in supporting this area and loving the poor and marginalized in our towns.  We care for those who call City Church their “place of worship”, and we are equally committed to extend the hand of friendship to all people.

Service comes in many different forms, and is often limited by the messy lives we have experienced as individuals. But our errors and failures will not keep us from living out our passion to care for those in need as best we can. We named this community City Church as a constant reminder, to each of us, that we have been created to live with a mission. We were created to worship God and to love and serve one another.
